Buying Cycle vs Sales Process – Perfect Timing Activation

The sales process is clear for most professionals.  You perform your level of prospecting, initiate contact, assess the needs of the prospects, present your offer, schedule an appointment, and hopefully present and close the deal (plenty of steps in between those stages).  But the remaining challenges for sales people are more clearly understanding the buying cycle of their prospects and connecting with them at the right time.  Even as I’m writing this, I received a cold call from someone who knew about my business and apparently knew me, but they simply caught me at a time when I wasn’t interested in hearing the offer nor was it something I even cared for.

Some of the best ways for sales professionals to master the sales cycle is by understanding the channels in which to communicate with prospects and finally when’s the right time to establish contact.  But first we must understand the process for each cycle.

Oftentimes we create and design presentations with tools such as PowerPoint but there’s a level of frustration in the creation process irrespective of how beautiful it looks.  Sometimes in order to avoid this frustration, we’ll hire a design firm that can create beautiful slides for sales teams and organizations to look their best and win more deals.
